/ 5 November 2021

THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines – College of Communication and Filipino folk-pop band Ben & Ben paid tribute to the late PUPian who lost her life to a fire.

The band played during the wake of Melanie Trinidad, a graduating student who died when she went back to her burning house to save her school files.

The house caught fire on early Tuesday in Novaliches, Quezon City, where Melanie lost her life.

Let’s all pray for the repose of her soul,” the band said on Facebook.

Melanie’s friends raised funds to help her family pay their medical bills.

Donors can coordinate with the PUP COC Ensemble on Facebook for their donations.
