PNPA WINS IN INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW ROLE PLAY CHALLENGE

THE MOOT and Debate Society of the Philippine National Police Academy was hailed as champions of the International Humanitarian Law Role Play Challenge at the 2022 National Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law.

Held at the Manila Adventist College from October 10-14, 2022, the PNPA was the only non-law school participant in the annual competition.

The PNPA team defeated 10 other teams from renowned law colleges across the country including the University of the Philippines-Diliman, the University of San Agustin, Bukidnon State University, the University of the Cordilleras, the University of Batangas, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Jose Maria College, the Ateneo de Davao University and the Southwestern University-PHINMA,

PBrig. Gen. Eric Noble, PNPA director, said the PNPA team was composed of 10 cadets namely Cdt 1C Mary Grace Montenegro, Cdt 1C Medela Divina, Cdt 1C Saleh Ismael Lingas, Cdt 1C Mary Louise Moyano, Cdt 2C Cleojean Pia, Cdt 2C Jonjea Kamille Amparo, Cdt 2C Art Lorenz Francisco, Cdt 3C John Gerbese, Cdt 3C John Ortiz and Cdt 3C Kristine Flores.

The PNPA Moot Court Team demonstrated grace and stability under pressure as they their mettle and prowess were testee in the field of International Humanitarian Law.
