PLM ACADEMIC BREAK STARTS NOVEMBER 2
TO PROMOTE the well-being of students and faculty members, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila will implement a one-week academic break from November 2 to 7.
No synchronous and asynchronous activities for undergraduate students will be held during the break.
There will also be no submission of activities, quizzes and assignments.
“The pandemic remains to be a cause for concern in our daily living despite more than a year of lockdowns and changing community quarantine protocols. We hope that everyone can take this time to reflect and recharge so they can carry on for the rest of the semester,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.
The academic break will not apply to colleges under a trimestral academic calendar such as the College of Law, 4th year students of the College of Medicine, and other graduate programs.
The College of Law will proceed with the midterm examination as scheduled to be followed by a three-day academic break from November 9 to 11.
For other academic units, the midterm examinations were moved to November 8 to 14.
