OFFICIALS of the Philippine Science High School in Ilocos region were urged to investigate claims that one of its faculties had sexually harassed students.

Students took to social media to air their complaint that a ”prominent’ figure has been sexually abusing them.

One anonymous Twitter user posted screenshots of conversations with the teacher, where the latter asked the student to send him lewd photos.

The teacher was reported to have also sent photos of his penis, while some were forced to show their genitalia in school.

Students threatened to boycott activities until the school takes action on their complaints.

“We strongly urge the administration of Philippine Science High School – Ilocos Region Campus to thoroughly investigate this matter. We hope that this will urge the administration to take control of the future so that any related incidents will not happen again,” Batch Mataluoran 2022 said.

“We stand in unity with those who have fallen victim. We ask for reform in how the school treats such situations, and for the faculty and staff to be more thoroughly vetted for pedophilia, sexual harassment, and assault,” it added.

The POST tried but failed to get a comment from the school administration.
