PASIG City Mayor Vico Sotto will be the speaker at the graduation rites of the Ateneo de Manila University.

The virtual commencement exercises will be held on October 24, 2021 with the theme “Gawing Buo ang Bansa: Muling Likhain ang Dangal, Integridad at Katapatan.”

“We hope that our students will be inspired by Mayor Sotto’s example of honor, integrity, and tireless service to the nation,” Dr. Maria Luz C. Vilches, vice president for the Loyola Schools, said.

Sotto graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at ADMU in 2011. He completed his Master’s in Public Management at the Ateneo School of Government in 2018.

In February 2021, the United States Department of State hailed Sotto as one of the recipients of the International Anti-corruption Champion Award in recognition of his work and commitment to truth, transparency, and accountability.

Sotto was also included in the Gen.T List 2020 for his extraordinary efforts in combating the Covid19 pandemic.
