PARAÑAQUE SCHOOL EXPANDS HYBRID LEARNING

/ 17 February 2022

PARAÑAQUE Mayor Edwin Olivarez gave gadgets to the Parañaque National High School to support its move to expand the implementation of hybrid learning.

The mayor expressed his support to the Department of Education as it began a pilot program of limited and optional in-person lessons in low-risk areas.

Olivarez distributed laptops, tablets and smartphones to students and provided internet access for “our children in the continuing of our hybrid learning.”

In compliance with the guidelines of the Education department, only vaccinated teaching and non-teaching employees were allowed to participate in the limited physical classes.

Only students who were able to secure consent from their parents and have no comorbidities were allowed to join the face-to-face lessons.
