PANGASINAN STATE U TO SHOULDER INSURANCE OF STUDENTS
THE PANGASINAN State University will shoulder the insurance expenses of its students who will participate in face-to-face classes.
Under Resolution No. 20 series of 2022 approved by the PSU Board of Regents, the Covid19 insurance of the students that are equal to that of Philhealth’s coverage will be paid for by the university.
“We need to prevent the spread of Covid19 and protect ourselves and others,” the PSU Student Services and Alumni Affairs said.
“Now, all PSUanians are safe and insured,” it added.
The Commission on Higher Education initially required students who will attend physical classes to register with PhilHeath or get insurance from other groups.
This was however revoked by the Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid19 in May.
