THE PANGASINAN State University has started its search for a new president who will replace Dr. Dexter R. Buted who is set to step down in December this year.

Buted served as PSU president for two terms.

In a Facebook post, the university said that applicants should at least be 35 years old, wIth a proven track record, a doctor, and with no criminal record.

Buted said that he wants the next president to continue efforts to improve the university for the betterment of its constituents.

“Join me in prayer (to God) to give us the best leader who will lead PSU,” Buted said on Facebook.

The PSU will mark its 43rd founding anniversary on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
