THE PANGASINAN State University achieved remarkable placements in the sustainability-focused UI GreenMetric World University Ranking.

This was announced earlier this month during the UIGM Conference in São Paulo, Brazil.

PSU ranked 15th in the Philippines, 306th in Asia, and 563rd globally.

University President Dr. Elbert Galas expressed his delight at this achievement, saying, “This is yet another milestone for PSU, marking our fourth global ranking in 2024.”

The UI GreenMetric Ranking is a valuable tool for enhancing institutional development, quality assurance, and internationalization. It promotes sustainable practices aligned with the SDGs and assesses universities on environmental performance across energy, waste, water, transportation, infrastructure, and education.

This year’s rankings included 1,477 universities from 95 countries, providing a benchmark for global comparison and inspiring continuous improvement.
