THE PANGASINAN  State University awarded cash incentives to its graduates who landed in the Top 10 of licensure examinations.

A reward of P100,000 was handed to each of the two recipients  — Thomas Jefferson Fernando from the PSU Asingan Campus who placed third in the January 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers and Jason Mejia of PSU Urdaneta who also ranked third in the May 2022 Licensure Examination for Civil Engineers.

A turn-over ceremony was conducted on Tuesday, attended by university executives as well as the parents and coaches of the graduates.

PSU said that the grant of incentives aims to inspire students and faculty members of board programs to ”excel academically and to do their best in preparing for the licensure examinations.”

The university said that passing the exam is  “a  formidable feat” but topping the licensure tests is an “achievement extraordinaire.”
