NORTH LUZON PHILIPPINES STATE COLLEGE TO HOLD F2F CLASSES
THE NORTH Luzon Philippines State College in Candon City, Ilocos Sur will resume limited face-to-face classes in all programs on the second semester of this school year.
More than 300 students joined the dry run for in-person classes that will begin in March.
“Although students’ participation during the first day of the dry run may not be satisfactory, this reopening of the campus for the limited face-to-face classes is a major accomplishment of the college during this pandemic,” the college said.
Danilo Bose, officer-in-charge of the Commission on Higher Education’s provincial office, representatives of the Department of the Interior and Local government as well as city health officials attended the dry run.
The Commission on Higher Education earlier said that in-person classes can be conducted in areas under Alert Level 2 but schools should have a high vaccination rate.
Schools should also get the permission of their respective local government units.
