Developed by Prof. Dr. Murat Alper and Associate Prof. Dr. Cihan Döğer, AD Scientific Index is a ranking and analysis system based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists.

It provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists.

Moreover, it uses the first and only study that shows the total and the last five-year productivity coefficients of scientists based on the h-index and i10 index scores and citations in Google Scholar.

The new index has a total of nine parameters that showed the ranking of an individual scientist by 112 subjects (Agriculture & Forestry, Arts, Design and Architecture, Business & Management, Economics & Econometrics, Education, Engineering & Technology, History, Philosophy, Theology, Law/Law and Legal Studies, Medical and Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Others); 256 branches, 14,153 institutions, 215 countries, 10 regions (Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, Arab Leageu, EECA, BRICS, Latin America and COMESA) and in the world.

Meanwhile, 37 other Institute scientists including those who have retired from MSU-IIT are also included in the AD Scientific Index 2022.
