/ 19 January 2024

THE Mountain Province State Polytechnic College has inked a pact with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Mountain Province District Jail in a bid to enhance students’ learning.

According to MPSPC, its nursing and criminology departments will work with BJMP, to help their students get more experience in their chosen track.

A memorandum of agreement was signed between two parties on Tuesday, headed by College President Edgar G. Cue and OIC-Warden JSInsp Bartolome B. Tresmanio.

“The MOA is focusing on providing quality education to its students, as well as strengthening collaboration with its partner agencies,” the MPSPC said.

“It also paved the way for the College’s Student Nurses and Criminology interns to have their hands-on training and learning experiences at the BJMP-MP as the Host Training Establishment,” it added.

A total of 39 MPSPC students have also gotten one-time cash assistance from the Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition of P25,000, to help students with their studies.
