THE MARIANO Marcos State University will provide students ATM cards to get their government subsidy for tertiary education.

MMSU President Shirley Agrupis and Landbank Batac Department Manager Aurea Nolasco signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the issuance of the cards.

The scheme will allow students to receive their financial assistance and stipends faster.

This issuance of the cash cards is also in line with the Commission on Higher Education Memorandum Order No. 09 series of 2013 or the Enhanced Policies and Guidelines on Student Affairs and Services.

The students will receive their Landbank Institutional Cash Card starting this year, MMSU said.

An LICC serves as a debit card and an ATM.

The cards will be valid for 10 years subject to renewal.
