MMSU ALUMNUS APPOINTED AS VP OF DAP
JUNE Arvin Gudoy, an alumnus of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), has been appointed Vice President of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP). He officially assumed the post on Monday, January 6.
Gudoy previously served as the Department Head of the Communications Office and Executive Director of the Youth Development Office in the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte before transitioning to national roles.
Academically, Gudoy holds a Master of Strategic Public Relations from the University of Sydney (2019) and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford (2024), both achieved through prestigious scholarships.
Initially considering a shift to NGO work, Gudoy was encouraged to pursue the DAP Vice President role, which he described as a blend of teaching, government service, and NGO involvement. After a rigorous selection process, he was chosen for his leadership, communication expertise, and values of empathy and integrity.
MMSU OIC-President Prima Fe Franco commended Gudoy’s achievement, calling it a testament to the university’s legacy of producing graduates who excel in various fields.
