A MATIAS H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine graduate topped the Physician Licensure Examination given this month.

Christopher Nino Duane Camay Mendoza of Cebu City got a rating of 89.25.

Edison Yu Ong of the University of Santo Tomas came in second with 89.08 percent, while Raian Isabelo Palacay Suyu of the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation placed third with 88.83 percent.

A total of 1,906 graduates out of 3,434 passed the exam.

The top-performing schools with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage are UERM (89.23); and UST (84.85).
