THE MARINDUQUE  State College will hold an online garage sale to raise funds for members of the MSC community who were affected by typhoons Quinta and Rolly.

Dubbed as ‘Bayanihan para sa MSCian: Garage Sale for a Cause’, the virtual garage sale will be from November 9 to 13, 2020 and will offer donated items in good condition.

“This initiative aims to raise funds through an online garage sale, with the objective of providing assistance to selected MSC students for the repair of houses damaged by the recent typhoons,” the MSC said on Facebook.

“We would highly appreciate donations of items we could sell in the online garage sale, such as old clothes, shoes, bags, books, plants, appliances, electronics or any item with value that is still in good condition for selling,” it added.

Donations in the form of relief goods or cash will also be accepted, the school said.

Donors can drop off items at the MSC’s Business Affairs Office in Boac Campus. Pick-up services for heavier items can also be arranged.
