MARIANO MARCOS STATE U SIGNS MOU WITH JAPAN UNIVERSITY
THE MARIANO Marcos State University continues to strengthen its internationalization program by tying up with a university in Japan.
The institution signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Seirei Christopher University in Hamamatsu, Japan that will pave the way for the sharing of academic information and exchange of personnel.
President Shohei Ohgi and MMSU President Shirley Agrupis signed the MOU and committed to enhance their health sciences programs through exchange of faculty and scholars, academic information and materials, and periodic academic publications.
The partnership aimed to promote international exchanges in the field of health sciences instruction, research, and community development starting 2021.
“With the conclusion of the MOU, we hope to develop students as professionals who can contribute to society locally and globally,” Ohgi said .
Agrupis said MMSU was privileged to partner with a university “that was founded on the Christian ideal of selfless service to others.”
“With the partnership, we are very sure that our service to the community will expand and strategically respond to the needs of time,” she added.
