LETRAN OPERATIONS TO BE HELD ONLINE UNDER MECQ
THE COLEGIO de San Juan de Letran announced on its Facebook page that its premises will be closed for two weeks and that all its operations will be held online after the government declared that Metro Manila will revert back to Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine status starting August 4.
All scheduled activities including the opening of classes on August 10 will be done online.
The Inter-Agency Task Force for Covid19 announced on the night of August 2 that Metro Manila will revert back to MECQ from August 4 to 18 to heed the call of healthcare workers in hopes of curbing the spread of virus infections.
The decision came after medical workers pleaded to the government for stricter quarantine protocol as hospitals are nearing collapse.
Letran also aired its support for the healthcare workers.”Together as knights, let all Letranites rally around and raise our voices in support of our medical heroes and health care workers,” it declared.
