ISABELA STATE U PRESIDENT RECEIVES AFP KAPAYAPAAN AWARD
ISABELA State University President Dr. Ricmar Aquino received the Armed Forces of the Philippines Kapayapaan 2021 Award.
The Philippine Army’s 5th Infantry Division awarded Aquino during the 86th Founding Anniversary of the AFP.
Aquino was recognized for his invaluable contribution and continued support in achieving the AFP’s Development and Security Plan “Kapayapaan” goals and objectives as a dynamic, committed, and reliable partner of the Northern Luzon in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo.
AFP Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Andres Centino personally presented the plaque to Aquino, a member of the 5ID’s multi-sectoral advisory group.
“The 5ID is fortunate and grateful for having a trusted partner in all the endeavors of this command. I would like to congratulate Dr. Aquino on the well-deserved award,” Maj. Gen. Laurence Mina, 5ID commander, said.
Meanwhile, Aquino vowed to serve people and underprivileged.
“I am humbly honored being one of the awardees of the prestigious Kapayapaan Award from the Armed Forces of the Philippines during its 86th Anniversary celebration. My commitment to serving our people, especially the underprivileged, in partnership with the AFP, specifically the Army’s 5th Infantry Division continues. I am one with the AFP in its quest for genuine peace and prosperity,” Aquino said.
