IFSU TRAINS EDUCATORS ON GENDER AND DEV’T
THE IFUGAO State University trained 31 educators on Gender and Development.
The three-day training aimed to produce skilled resource members for GAD in the university.
The training from May 18 to 20 tackled participatory learning approach and related techniques, planning and designing needs-based training and monitoring the training delivery and evaluation.
Those who attended the training sessions will be tasked to instruct, research, extend and administer services for the university.
The program was aimed to “enhance existing knowledge of participants on GAD-related concepts and equip them with skills in delivering lectures and training aspiring GAD advocates.”
A certification from the Philippine Commission on Women will be awarded to the new GAD trainers, IFSU said.
