iACADEMY WINS MORE AWARDS

MAKATI-BASED school iACADEMY was again recognized by international publication Global Business Review Magazine in UAE for being the Best Education Provider and Most Innovative Education Provider (Philippines).

The school won the same award in 2021.

Since its establishment in 2002, iACADEMY has developed specialized programs that utilize theoretical and practical approaches to various disciplines and technical courses in computing, business, liberal arts, and design. With over 200+ local and international industry partners, iACADEMY ensures students are educated with the emerging trends and immersed in the industry practices so that they will be future-ready professionals even before they graduate.

“We have a program advisory council which meets regularly not just to update our curriculum but to understand how this curriculum is relevant and remains strong with the demands of the industries and the potential business landscape. It’s really important that these programs could withstand time and that they would remain relevant and vital to any industry success,” Raquel Perez-Wong, Chief Operating Officer of iACADEMY, said.

iACADEMY was the first to offer cutting-edge programs such as Software Engineering, Game Development, Animation, Music and Sound Design in the Philippines.

Mikee Sevilla, a graduate of BS Animation, is one of the many students who made a mark in the industry. Sevilla has honed his  expertise in animation working with Walt Disney Animation Studios’ in films such as Raya and the Last Dragon (2021), and Encanto (2022).

Recently, iACADEMY’s professor in Music Production and Sound Design Program Gerard Paul Elviña made headlines for being the first Filipino and second Asian to join the Audio Engineering Society Standards Committee, the world’s largest community of audio experts responsible for conducting the AES Standards Program.
