iACADEMY OFFERS HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM

/ 10 February 2022

iACADEMY is now accepting applications from students who wish to begin the Academic Year on March 7, 2022 and finish at their own pace and time through its homeschool program DRIVE.

DRIVE or Design for Remote, Individualized, and Versatile Education was launched in August 2021 to allow flexible learning arrangements. This is on top of its GOAL program, or Guided Online Autonomous Learning offered in Senior High School and for college students.

It aims to help students with unique learning preferences and enable academic continuity through self-paced, independent, and distance learning.

“Our institution sought to respond to a pressing challenge for students who may not have the time to comply with a strict schedule but would like to continue their education. Being a progressive education provider, we also saw this as an opportunity to innovate and accommodate students who learn and thrive better in a non-traditional classroom setup,” Vanessa Tanco, President and CEO of iACADEMY, said.

The program offers a maximum of 30 hours of consultation per subject and per academic year to ensure that students are guided accordingly and learning outcomes are met. DRIVE Homeschool Program also makes use of interactive platforms like Gathertown and gamified classes to allow students to experience a virtual school despite being at home.

“This program will not just hand you modules and give you learning materials. DRIVE Homeschool program will cater to your needs and provide the necessary feedback to allow you to strengthen your skills. It will also give you an experience which you will not see in other homeschool programs,” Paolo Noceda, Assistant Principal of iACADEMY Senior High School, said.

Parents and guardians who want to keep track of their child’s progress may check their development through an online platform called NEO Learning Management System.

DRIVE Homeschool Program is offered for Senior High School students who wish to take Accountancy, Business, and Management, Multimedia Arts, Animation, and Software Development.
