THE Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management of Far Eastern University partnered with the Food Safety and Hygiene Academy of the Philippines to foster food safety practices.

A memorandum of agreement was recently signed between key officials of FEU and FoodSHAP.

FEU said the collaboration aims at advancing food safety practices and enhancing leadership skills.

Under the agreement, FEU is committed to foster innovation and meaningful collaborations in the delivery of it programs in 2024.

These include – level 1: Foundations of Food Safety; level 2: Basic Food Safety for Food Handlers; level 3: HACCP Principles and Practices; and level 4: Food Safety Compliance Officer.

FoodSHAP is an organization devoted to championing the advocacy of elevating awareness among food handlers regarding food safety.

It develops internationally recognized certificate programs for food handlers funneled through authorized course providers such as FEU Academy.
