F2F CLASSES IN MSU RETURN ON DEC. 11
THE MINDANAO State University announced that face-to-face classes will resume on December 11 after the bombing incident happened in the gymnasium of the school.
The bombing incident happened last Sunday (03 Dec 2023) during a Catholic mass inside the school’s gymnasium.
Academic activities will likewise resume of the said date and will end on December 22, according to a memorandum.
Victims of the bomb attack will be exempted from attending classes and complying with academic requirements during the period of their recuperation.
Meanwhile, the University and provincial government of Lanao del Sur will offer free transportation services to assist students returning to campus.
MSU said its administration remains committed in ensuring the safety and security of all constituents.
“The timely resumption of classes ensures the continuity and stability of the academic and professional pursuit of the student body,” memorandum read.
“While acknowledging the anxiety and distress the incident has caused among our constituents, the University assures its community of comprehensive measures being undertaken to create a safe and conducive environment for learning and working,” it added.
