DLSU, MMSU STUDENTS TOP CIVIL ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
STUDENTS of De La Salle University and Mariano Marcos State University-Batac topped the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission this month.
Garret Wilkenson Ching Sia and Alexis Castillo Alegado led the successful examinees with a rating of 92.10 percent.
Reden Christian Tandoc Mercado of Saint Louis University and Casmer Blah Dilangalen of University of the Philippines Diliman were tied at second place with a score of 90.45 percent.
The PRC said 5,887 out of 16,936 passed the examinations which were held in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
Meanwhile, the top performing schools with 50 or more examinees and with at least an 80 percent passing rate were DLSU (88.99) and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (81.52).
