DLSU GRAD TOPS CHEMICAL ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
A GRADUATE of the De La Salle University-Manila topped the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) this month.
Jerome Ignatius Tan Garces led the successful examinees with a rating of 89.30%.
Oliver Roy Prayon Mañgosing of Xavier University placed second with 88.30%, followed by Caesar John Trinidad Alcoriza of the University of the Philippines Diliman with 87.80%.
The PRC said 531 out of 1,036 examinees passed the test given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.
The top performing schools with 10 or more examinees getting at least 80% passing percentage are UP Diliman (96.36%); UP Los Baños (92.59%); DLSU Manila (90.91%); University of San Carlos (85.71%); and Xavier University (80%).
