THE BULACAN State University received an award from the Department of the Interior and Local Government for supporting its programs.

BulSU was recognized with an ‘Outstanding Regional Partner’ by the DILG by awarding the ‘NextGen Capacity Development Accelerator Award in Local Governance’ for helping implement the agency’s educational programs.

The university is the final leg to produce the LED4LGUs Handbook/ Manual Project.

LED4LGUs is a Learning Management System developed by the DILG with the Local Government Academy that aims to strengthen local economic development.

“The award aims to recognize outstanding regional partners for their remarkable contributions to supporting and assisting the Local Governance Regional Resource Center,” BulSU said.

BulSU President Dr. Cecilia Navasero-Gascon along with other university officials, accepted the award at The Manila Hotel last December 13.
