DESERVING SAN JUAN STUDENTS TO GET CASH INCENTIVES FROM LGU

GOOD news to all San Juan students with honors.

The local government will provide cash incentives to all senior high school (Grade 12), Grades 10 and 6 students, who graduated with honors.

San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora signed City Ordinance No. 45, Series of 2019 granting cash rewards for deserving honor students as part of the local government’s appreciation and recognition on their intelligence, dedication and diligence in learning.

“Bilang gantimpala po sa pagsusumikap ng ating mga honor student sa mga pampublikong paaralan ng San Juan na nagtapos ng Grade 12, 10 at 6, mayroon po kayong matatanggap na cash reward na P10,000, P7,000, P5,000, P3,000 at P2,000, depende sa inyong grade level at uri ng karangalan,” Zamora said in a social media post.

Under the ordinance, senior high school students who graduated from public schools this year with highest honors (98 percent -100 percent general average) will receive P10,000 each, those with high honors (95 percent-97percent general average) will get P7,000 and those with honors (90 percent-94 percent general average) will receive P5,000.

For Grades 6 and 10 who finished with the highest honors (98 percent-100 percent general average) they will get P5,000, those with high honors (95 percent-97 percent general average) will get P3,000, while those with honors (90 percent-94 percent general average) will receive P2,000.
