DEPED PREPARES TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR TEACHERS
THE DEPARTMENT of Education is putting together training programs to help teachers prepare quizzes and written activities for learners, Education Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio said.
He issued the statement during the public hearing held by the Committee on Public Accounts of the House of Representatives.
San Antonio told the panel that the agency continues to monitor the validated errors in the learning modules.
National Council for Children’s Television Executive Director Desideria Atienza expressed her group’s willingness to partner with the DepEd in developing quality materials for the students.
The committee chaired by Ang Probinsyano Partylist Rep. Jose Singson Jr. held the hearing to look into the findings of the Commission on Audit on various errors in learning materials and modules.
Singson filed House Resolution 1670 which seeks to institute reforms, review policies, and assess DepEd’s efficiency.
