CSU PRESIDENT RETIRES

THE President of the Cagayan State University, Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, 64, has retired from office, after more than seven years of service from the position.

Alvarado’s successor is Engr. Arthur G. Ibañez, who will be the officer-in-charge of the university.

Ibañez is the former Campus Executive Officer of CSU Carig, who relived his position to serve as OIC of the Office of the President.

His position is now assumed by Engr. Roger Rumpon as the new CEO.

A retirement ceremony and book launching was launched by CSU last Monday, to bid farewell to Alvarado.

According to the Supreme Court of the Philippines’ labor code, the mandatory retirement age for government officials is 65 years old.
