THE PRESIDENT of the Cagayan State University called on her constituents to give newly elected leaders a chance to prove themselves.
Dr. Urduja Alvarado said that the result of the elections should be respected and the candidates chosen by majority of the people should be given support.
“I call on you, dear students, faculty, and staff, to believe in the new administration chosen by the Filipinos. Let us give those elected a chance to give us a beautiful tomorrow,” Urdujah said.
“Let us not allow ourselves to wallow in bitterness and spite. Let us support the choice of the people and wish them well but we should also be vigilant. Let us not cause antagonism in any form. Negativity should have no place in our hearts and minds. Strive well in your work and studies, be optimistic, a brilliant future awaits you,” she added.
