ONLINE and in-person classes at Gen. Vicente Lim Elementary School here have been suspended on Monday, September 16, as the school is being used as an evacuation center.

The evacuation site is currently sheltering victims of a recent fire on Aroma Road 10 in Tondo, Manila.

Students will have make-up classes to compensate for the suspension.

According to reports, around 1,000 families were displaced by the fire.

In related news, classes in parts of Antique, Negros Occidental, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, and Siquijor have also been suspended due to inclement weather.
