CHED EARMARKS P24-M FOR CASH AID TO BIPSU STUDENTS
STUDENTS of the Biliran Province State University totalling to 2,371 are set to receive scholarship grant.
The school on Friday announced the Commission on Higher Education allocated a total of P24 million to the university.
The amount covers 514 students under the Tertiary Education Subsidy who will receive P20,000 each, amounting to a total of P10,280,000.
The other 1,857, on the other hand, will receive P7,500 each under the Tulong Dunong Program-Tertiary Education Subsidy, totalling to P13,927,500.
The cash aid is for the first semester of the Academic Year 2020-2021.
An additional 41 TES and 437 TDP-TES grantees will also receive their cash aid soon, the school added.
