BULSU STUDENTS SEEK RELEASE OF HYBRID LEARNING GUIDELINES

/ 10 August 2022

THE BULACAN State University Student Government on Academic Affairs called on the school administration to release the guidelines for the hybrid learning setup it will implement for Academic Year 2022-2023.

The committee said that weeks have passed since the Educational Development office under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs proposed a new set of guidelines but has yet to issue them.

The group sought the immediate release of the guidelines to allow students to fix their schedules.

Classes will start on August 22.

“Considering various factors that need to be taken into consideration and be put into priority, the financial, physical, mental health, and external factors like the basic needs of students and faculty will depend on the finalized and concrete guidelines of the local administration,” the group said on Facebook.

It also called for a consultation to give students the chance to give their comments on the guidelines.

Various student organizations in BulSU also joined the call like the College of Arts and Letters Local Student Council, The BulSU Journalism Society and Mental Health Coalition, among others.
