THE BICOL University paid tribute to one of its regents who passed away on Thursday.

Dr. Antonio Gari Zamora died at the age of 56.

Zamora was one of the private sector representatives of BU. He was appointed along with Atty. Roberto Rafael Lucila on August 22, 2019.

BU said that Zamora was instrumental in the establishment of the Doctor of Dental Medicine Program.

“Thank you for your service, Dr. Zamora. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. We ask for your prayers for the eternal repose of his soul. May he rest in peace,” it said.

Zamora’s remains will be available for viewing on December 31, 2022 in Manila.

He will be transported to Legazpi City for his wake from January 1 to 4, 2023.

He will be laid to rest on January 5, 2023.
