ATENEO TO RESUME JUNIOR TEAM ABROAD PROGRAM
ATENEO De Manila University announced the resumption of the Junior Term Abroad program.
The office of the Vice President for University and Global Relations made the announcement on Friday.
“We intend to resume the Junior Term Abroad program in August 2021 for the Fall Term. We will be glad to accept applications now,” the memo stated.
However, it also didn’t discount the possibility of the program being suspended anew given the current Covid19 pandemic.
“In many places, including countries which we send our students, there is continuing volatility in health conditions. There is reason to remain cautious,” it stated.
In case of another suspension, the same office said it will announce it at a suitable time around January of 2021.
The JTA program of Ateneo School of Humanities allows college juniors to take a semester at a partner university abroad which would be credited towards their Ateneo degree.
