THE ATENEO de Manila University on Monday opened the period of application of freshmen for Academic Year 2023-2024.

“This application period will see the return of the Ateneo College Entrance Test, which was suspended for two years due to the pandemic. The revived ACET is a refreshed version of the examination, seen to help assess applicants better,” Ateneo said in an advisory.

The ACET will be administered from October 29 to 30 for applicants in the National Capital Region, and from November 5 to 6 for applicants outside NCR.

Aside from their performance in the ACET, applicants will be assessed based on their academic and non-academic performance from Grades 9 to 11; batch ranking at the end of Grade 11; personal admission essays; recommendation letters; extracurriculars and disciplinary records.

The deadline for the submission of applications is on September 30.

Scholarships and financial assistance programs are also being offered by the university.

Ateneo will also accept transfer applications until March 23, 2023 for those who have completed at least one full semester in college but have not finished any undergraduate degree during the application period and have not been enrolled in the Loyola Schools of ADMU.

Applicants were advised to visit https://www.ateneo.edu/admissions/college and https://apply.ateneo.edu for updates and guidelines at the Ateneo admissions portal.

The application process will be fully online, the university said.

Decision on applications will be released in April 2023.
