SENIOR High School students of Ateneo de Manila emerged victorious in the Asian Schools Debating Championships 2022.

Team ASHS B composed of Aliyah Herlihy, Kristen Reyes, and Pio Ventura was crowned Novice Champion after winning against a team from Chinese International School Hong Kong Present during the final round.

Meanwhile, the group of Aki Delos Santos, Jasmin Ang and Kiel Mirandilla finished fourth in the Open Category as they gracefully bowed out of the competition as Asian semifinalists.

Reyes was named Novice Finals Best Speaker and 10th Best Novice Speaker, while Ventura was acknowledged as the 8th Best Open Speaker and 4th Best Novice Speaker.

On the other hand, Delos Santos was recognized 9th Best Novice Speaker.

ASDC is the largest Asian Parliamentary High School Debate tournament in the region, attracting hundreds of participants from all over Asia.
