CHMSC IN NEED OF DONATIONS TO HELP COVID-STRICKEN CONSTITUENTS

/ 12 April 2021

The Carlos Hilado Memorial State College in Negros Occidental is asking for donations to help its Covid-stricken constituents get by amid the pandemic.

It said on Sunday that several members of its community contracted the virus and are in need of assistance.

“In light of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the Province of Negros Occidental, we once again call on every CHMSCian and our partners to live out the Filipino Bayanihan spirit and respond with genuine care especially to those in need,” CHMSC said on Facebook.

“A few members (faculty, staff, and students) of our own CHMSC community have been affected and are under quarantine or hospitalized and are in need of assistance too,” it added.

Prospective donors can wire their donations at Rhoderick K. Samonte’s GCash account:  0905-440-7276, or Rhanee A. Lumanog’s Palawan Express account: 0998-269-1690.

In-kind donations like rice, food packs, vitamins, health and hygiene kits will also be accepted. The donations can be dropped off at any of CHMSC’s campuses.
