CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS: DANAS/[R]ANAS DILIMAN REVIEW VOL. LXIV

The Diliman Review of the University of the Philippines Diliman devotes its Volume 64 (2020) to scholarly insights, literary compositions, and experimental narratives that tackle the Philippine/Filipino experience(s) of the Covid19 pandemic. All manuscripts will be subjected to an expedited double-blind review process.

“The volume’s title ‘DANAS/[R]ANAS’ highlights the complementariness of theories and experiences in academic discourses on Covid19 and seeks to be the largest collection of academic writings on this topic in the context of the Philippines,” Editor Aldrin Lee said.

Diliman Review accepts the following types of contributions:

  1. Experimental narratives

Storytelling of factual real-life experiences written in any Philippine language and/or English.

  1. Literary compositions

Including but not limited to poetry and short fiction written in any Philippine language and/or English

  1. Scientific papers

Written in Filipino and/or English, including but not limited to the following: full-length articles, explainers, case reports, technical notes, pictorial essays, thought papers, reviews, opinion-oriented pieces (commentaries and editorials).

Submit manuscript in .docx format or send enquiries to the editor at [email protected], not later than January 31, 2021.

Do note that scientific papers must follow any of the major criterion styles in academic writing. Manuscript length requirements will not be strictly followed in this special volume and the editor may allow works longer or shorter than the standard length for each type of manuscript.
