OLFU TIGHTENS SECURITY AFTER CAMPUS THREAT
OUR Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) has heightened security measures across all its campuses following a threat incident at the SBH/Tamaraw Building of its Valenzuela City campus.
In a memorandum dated September 30, OLFU President Caroline Marian Enriquez said the university is working closely with the Philippine National Police and the Valenzuela City local government as the investigation into the incident continues.
The university expressed gratitude to authorities for their swift and sustained response to the incident.
OLFU said security protocols have been strengthened not only at the Tamaraw Building but also across all its campuses and facilities.
The university asked students, parents, guests, and partners for their understanding and cooperation as stricter security measures are implemented.
Meanwhile, OLFU has made professional counselors available onsite for students, faculty members, and employees at the SBH/Tamaraw Building who may need support following the incident.
The university said it was grateful that the threat incident did not result in any physical injuries.
OLFU reminded its community that safety and security are a shared responsibility and urged everyone to remain vigilant and look out for one another.
