THE VALENZUELA City local government unit has started distributing educational assistance to public school students in the city.

A total of ₱25,317,000 has been allocated for the program for School Year 2024–2025.

The financial assistance is specifically intended for graduating elementary and senior high school students.

This initiative is implemented annually in line with the city’s approved ordinances.

In recent years, more than 16,000 graduating students have benefited from this program.

“In line with City Ordinance No. 551, Series of 2019, and No. 1110, Series of 2023, a total of ₱25,317,000 in educational assistance funds was allocated for this year,” the LGU said in a post.

“This reaffirms the city’s strong commitment to ensuring that every #PamilyangValenzuelano has access to quality education and that no student is left behind.”
