DE LA SALLE University has partnered with the SGV Academy to enhance accounting education and develop future professionals in the field.

The SGV Academy program focuses on improving accounting courses and syllabi, training educators, providing part-time teaching roles for SGV professionals, and offering guest lectures, hands-on workshops, and student internship opportunities.

As part of the collaboration, selected students will participate in SGV’s Cooperative Education program, allowing them to gain real-world experience within DLSU’s BS in Accountancy curriculum.

The initiative aligns with SGV’s mission to nurture leaders and support businesses in the Philippines.

SGV representatives at the memorandum of agreement signing included Vice Chair and Deputy Managing Partner Vivian C. Ruiz, Assurance Partner and SGV Academy Program Director Allan W. Ocho, and several other partners from Strategy and Transactions, Tax, Assurance, and Consulting divisions.

Representing DLSU were Dr. Robert Roleda, Provost and Vice President for Academics, Dr. Arnel Onesimo Uy, Chair of the Department of Accountancy, Dr. Joy Rabo, Vice Chair of the Department of Accountancy, and Mr. Johannes Leo Badillo, Executive Director of Strategic Communications.
