THE LOCAL government of Tayabas City, Quezon, distributed educational assistance to deserving students as an early Christmas gift.

Around 1,000 college, senior high, and junior high school students received financial assistance for school requirements. Mayor Lovely Reynoso-Pontioso led the distribution under the Dagdag-Baon Educational Assistance Program, facilitated by the City Treasurer’s and Social Welfare Offices.

Approximately 250 college students received ₱4,000 each, while 750 senior high and junior high school students received ₱2,000 each. Beneficiaries were assessed based on strict program criteria.

The local chief executive promised to continue supporting poor and deserving students.
