MAPUA PARTNERS WITH BSI, NWSSU FOR MICRO-CREDENTIALS, RESEARCH
MAPUA University strengthened its global edge through new partnerships with BSI Group Philippines and Northwest Samar State University.
A memorandum of agreement was signed with BSI Group last month to formalize the partnership.
The collaboration focuses on delivering Lean Six Sigma Training and Certifications via MapúaX, the university’s digital learning platform.
“Aside from micro-credentials, the University also sought further research and program prospects for its community—initiatives that Northwest Samar State University resonated with, thus gaining Mapúa a new collaborator in the Visayas region,” the school said.
To formalize the partnership, both parties signed the MOA earlier this month to expand research, training, and joint education programs.
“Mapúa’s commitment to empowering learners and equipping them with skills demanded in industries is evident in its initiatives. In a world that is rapidly changing, we want our students to adapt to the modern workplace and become future-ready professionals,” said Engr. Rosette Eira Camus, director of the Institute for Lifelong Learning and Global Competencies.
“On top of our program offerings, we ensure this by providing other courses, training, and programs in collaboration with esteemed institutions that will help them upskill and reskill if needed,” she added.
