3,997 PASS MIDWIFERY LICENSURE EXAM
THE Professional Regulation Commission announced that 3,997 out of 5,398 examinees passed the licensure examination for midwifery.
Bernard Isaac Badar Alido of the University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences Leyte topped the exam with a rating of 92.60 percent.
Dol Rich Jay Mangin of Gordon College placed second with 92.05%, followed by Karyl Ann Antojado of Northeastern Mindanao State University with 91.85%.
The top-performing schools with 35 or more examinees and at least an 80% passing rate were St. Alexius College and Davao School Foundation, both achieving a 100% passing rate.
The Midwifery Board Exam was administered this month at PRC testing centers located in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
It was overseen by five members of the Board of Midwifery le by chairman Melchor Dela Cruz, Jr.
