MMSU PARTNERS WITH MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY
MARIANO Marcos State University has partnered with Han Chiang University College of Communication in Malaysia to strengthen its academic, research, and community development programs on the international stage.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by MMSU OIC President Dr. Prima Fe Franco, represented by Vice President for Planning and Strategic Foresight Dr. Virgilio Julius Manzano Jr., and HCUC Vice Chancellor Associate Professor Dr. Beh Kok Hooi.
“Through this memorandum of understanding, we are harnessing the potential of communication in education, research, community development, and intercultural relations,” Manzano said.
Under the MoU, the two universities will collaborate for five years on conferences, research activities, and capacity-building initiatives.
The partnership also includes the exchange of academic materials, publications, faculty, staff, and students for instruction, research, and community engagement programs.
Both institutions will develop and offer transnational education, short-term courses, and promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals, MMSU said.
Meanwhile, Dr. Beh welcomed the partnership, expressing hope for a fruitful collaboration with MMSU.
