THE Presidential Communications Office announced on Monday morning that classes in all levels in National Capital Region are suspended due to Tropical Storm Enteng.

“In view of the inclement weather brought about by Tropical Storm “Enteng,” classes in public and private schools at all levels within the National Capital Region on 02 September 2024 are hereby suspended,” statement from the Office of the Secretary read.

Some local government units have earlier suspended the face-to-face classes due to continuous strong rainfall.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that ‘Enteng’ has intensified into a tropical storm.

In its 5 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa raised an orange rainfall warning signal over Quezon while yellow rainfall warning signal has been raised over Laguna, Batangas and Rizal.
