SENATOR Francis Tolentino once again praised double gold medalist Carlos Yulo for his discipline, urging the youth and aspiring athletes to follow his example, including those competing in the ongoing national finals of the Philippine Reserved Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Games in Cavite.

The senator made this remark while facilitating the handover of a brand-new sports utility vehicle to Yulo.

“I informed Carlos about this back in Paris, and now it has been realized,” said Tolentino, who attended the Paris Olympics to personally congratulate and support Yulo and other members of the Philippine team.

“Senator Tolentino promised this long before…that I would receive a vehicle when I got home,” shared Yulo.

Yulo expressed his gratitude to the donors and the audience, promising to train hard and perform even better in future competitions. He also urged the public to continue supporting Filipino athletes.
